IAS BET REVIEW

Here is a preview of this big races this weekend at Caulfield.

Caulfield Race 3 – Blue Diamond Prelude

Race 3 is tricky with plenty of chances. Samaready ($3.70) looks the top chance, she was very impressive at Flemington and by all reports has improved since then. Her stable mate Malasun ($5.50) was also impressive winning her debut and a repeat of that performance will see her right in the finish of this. Formidable ($7.00) put in a big run last time when she covered ground the whole way. She’s racing well and should be very competitive. Applegate ($7.00) showed good ability winning down the Flemington straight in the Spring and can go on with it this preparation.

Caulfield Race 7 – Rubiton Stakes

Karuta Queen ($2.15) is the class filly and looks very well placed here with no weight. She should lead them a merry dance. Three year old colt Decircles ($5.50) ran well first up and expect further improvement from him, he looks untapped. The honest First Command ($6.50) is always competitive and is one for exotics. Zedi Knight ($15.00) is probably not suited back in distance, but has good Black Caviar form.

Caulfield Race 8 – Kevin Hayes Stakes

Soft Sand ($3.70) drops in weight from her last run, will strip fitter here and has plenty of talent. Class New Zealand filly, Anabandana ($4.00) has been well supported and will race on the speed. With Craig Williams on board, punters give her a great chance. Chivvy ($5.00) is open to further improvement from her Sydney race last month and is drawn to get a nice run. The consistent and fit Glows ($8.50) should lead and will take plenty of running down.
